Chapter 10
Vision
Ah... I love this vision.

I stood with my hands clasped together under my chin, my heart was pounding, and tears were running down my cheeks. My eyes were wide open as I took in the incredible vision.
                                     ~~~~~~~~
        We were having a beautiful Sunday morning worship service at the First Assembly of God Church in Anacortes, Washington.
It was a special presentation day. The choir was on the risers to the right of the church. Our most gifted choir director, Denise Coleburn, led all in the church right to the Throne Room of God where His mercy bathed us in his unending forgiveness and love. The praise and love for God, and for each other, was incredibly deep.
Pastor Stan Drew gave a closing message. People were asked to take a step of faith and invite Jesus Christ into their hearts. While that was happening, I had a marvelous
of Jesus right before my startled eyes.
        He, Jesus, was walking from the church front, down the center aisle, toward the back. As He walked, an enormous shadowy mantle flowed over both sides of the congregation.  Sometimes He stopped momentarily looking either to the left or the right. When He did, I saw a blink of light flash over someone. At times, He looked to his right, and the same thing happened. His walk continued until He reached the back of the church and the vision faded away.  In all, from both sides, I saw six blinks of light occur.
        Then, our pastor asked us to bow our heads and close our eyes as he prayed, and then he asked people to slip up their hand if they wanted to make a decision for Christ.
        I did have my head bowed and my eyes closed, but later I asked the pastor’s wife, how many people raised their hands. Her answer… six! By faith, I knew it was the same six people that were "called" when the Lord paused to touch their hearts.
        May there be more of these chilling and thrilling, wide-eyed visions in my days to come and for you, as well.
        Why do I share these stories? It's to encourage others to open their eyes and ears and acknowledge our amazing personal G-d who profoundly loves us and cares for us.
