It was in the town of Cana
on our happy wedding day
that Jesus was invited
to help us celebrate...
celebrate.
We're happy you could join us.
We're so glad you had the time.
We're sorry we can't serve you,
but we just ran out of wine...
out of wine.
Then Mary told our servants,
"You must do as Jesus bids."
So, the Lord, he commanded that they
bring the water pots in,
and fill each water pot to the top
'til not a drop would go in...
not a drop would go in then...
He turned the water into wine.
Right before our eyes, Hallelujah!
Right before our eyes,
He turned the water into wine.
Right before our eyes, Hallelujah!
Right before our eyes,
Hallelujah!
Hallelujah!
We're happy You could join us.
We're so glad you had the time.
There's always be a question as to why Jesus chose turning water into wine as his first miracle. Aside from honoring his mother, it simply demonstrated that he was the Lord of Compassion and Joy. (John 2:1-12) *The last line is speaks to us... here, now, in the present time. We are happy He could join us. We are so glad He had the time.
