An Abortion Survivor's Lament...
I waited patiently.
I waited patiently for the Lord, and He heard my cry.
He heard my cry for the Innocents of the World.
Rachel crying.... Rachel crying for her children... her children.
What is wrong with the hearts of some people today.
Are they just too selfish to see.
That each precious soul is a gift from God... waiting to be born.
Just like you... and just like me.
Although it might not have been.
There was pain!
and, oh so much fear.
Yet we were born!
Not of man. Not by plan.
But by the will of God.

"Yet to all who did receive him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God-- children born not of natural descent, nor of human decision or a husband's will, but born of God." (The Book of John, Chapter 1, verse 13)
These words were like a soothing ointment upon my heart. The meaning was rock solid. I was here by God's purpose. It is His intent that I accomplish His purpose. His love rescued me, and continues to do so.
