​                  Talking Heads
I love it when my dreams give visuals that are clearly in focus. The vague ones take so much longer to figure out.
          In this dream, I simply saw two distinct banners…
    
Banner #1:                                   
          It won’t be the talking heads of the media. No, it will be through God’s divine will, through His written Word, through the Comforter who will “lead us into all Truth,”[i] and through trusted Christian brothers that take the time to practice God’s presence.
         Good for us to know, God doesn’t mince words. He speaks with clarity and purpose. Some are still drinking 


Banner #2:
the milk while others are chewing on the meat.
         Have you noticed that when time passes and you haven’t been keeping up with the news, that when you
get back to it, it hasn’t changed much? What is
​important, too often, is left unsaid while some insignificant detail of the elite and famous drones on and on in the headlines.
 
                                                      
​         At first, that may sound like a contradiction to the first banner. However, that’s just what the prophets of old did. They listened intently, and by Jewish law, stoning was the penalty if they were not correct 100% of the time. You might say, What about future prophecy? Through their lifetime they were reliable. Therefore their future prophecies could be trusted. Then, too, the confirmation of the Spirit continues to acknowledge the truth of His Word to our hearts.
        There are those who, through trial and testing, have their ears bent to the foot of the Throne. The “worry and concerns of the world” do not hold as much sway to their thinking as does the voice of God. Who are those people? 
        We can begin with the authors of the Holy Word of God. Yes, they were men, but they listened. The passion of God's Word filled every cell of their being. If they didn't see to it that those words were written down, they would have gone mad. To this very day, it has been proven again, and again, that these ancient scrolls are correct in their translation through the centuries.
        Let me point this interesting fact out:  God chose to write His profound and prophetic words through languages that did not contain numerics - only alphabetics. That meant that every letter of those languages, Hebrew, Aramaic, and Greek, had a numerical value, i.e., alpha = 1, beta = 2, and so on. The scribes knew, numerically, how to add the words up. It's like columns in bookkeeping that prove to the bottom totals, equaled the right column totals. I hope you can visualize that. Indeed, one cannot change a jot or the smallest tittle in the manuscript, or it would result in an error.  BRILLIANT!!! The Holy Spirit is the CSA -  the Certified Spiritual Accountant. 
        In listening to others who have given us revelation knowledge, I have some contemporary favorites, such as the late Pastor Jonathan Edwards (1703-1758). Currently, there is a revival of interest in his sermons online. The one that casts everyone to their knees who reads it is, “Sinner in the hands of an angry God.” It was the Holy Spirit who wrote that message through Pastor Edwards. It enlivened every fiber of my being. In my head, I could hear the intensity of his delivery! It was not a new prophecy. It was casting a brilliant light on what God had already told us through His Word.

        Another pastor that highlights the prophecies of God, whom I give credence to, is Pastor David Wilkerson. Tried and true, you may remember him from his life-changing book, “The Cross and the Switchblade.” As a small town pastor in the late 50’s, his heart ached for the souls of street gangs in New York. He left his small town, became a street corner evangelist, and drastically changed the lives of Hell bent thugs by His love and commitment to Jesus Christ. When he feels that he has to shine a light on God’s prophecies, it breaks his heart. He’s not trashing us by his insight. He’s in there with us. His sorrow is genuine and pleading.         Jonathan Cahn – I hope by now you have read not only “The Harbinger,” but also his new book “Shemitah 2015,”  as well. If you haven’t read the book, then take the time to view his YouTube video on “Shemitah 2015.” How he pinpoints God’s timing is simply amazing and ever so enlightening. God has told us to be knowledgeable and wise about His times and seasons. I’m personally grateful that there is someone such as the Messianic Christian Cahn to pull it forward to make it easier for us to understand. I’m still gasping over the importance of Ground Zero that he has brought out. Where did America begin?         Likely, you have your favorite End Times evangelists. People you respect because they do not shy away from telling the truth. However, they, like we, are fallen, humans. We all have to be so careful of not falling to the pride of our flesh. Along with that, I hope you will, as the Lord said, “test everything.”[ii] I believe in checking what I hear up against God’s written Word; through the impress of the Spirit within me; and with other faithful believers.
        We must be accountable to others in the way of Jesus Christ because we are subject to error, and who, all too often, lean toward skewing the truth.
